Our Journey

Milestones of Innovation and Education

Explore the key moments that have shaped Kredit Academy's growth and impact. From our early vision to launching innovative financial literacy platforms and securing major partnerships, each milestone reflects our commitment to empowering financial education and driving credit awareness.

1

2021 - Partnered with Equifax

Equifax partnered with Kiddie Kredit, recognizing its innovative approach to teaching children the importance of credit history and financial health. This partnership aligned with Equifax's mission to promote financial inclusion and democratize credit education.

"Kiddie Kredit focuses on what kids do every day—chores—and connects that to credit scores. Good habits with chores translate into good credit behaviors."
- Beverly Anderson, former President of Global Consumer at Equifax

2

2022 - Raised a $1.4M pre-seed round

We secured $1.4 million in pre-seed funding from investors, including Nueterra Capital, Plain Sight Capital, Fearless Ventures, Spotlight Capital, and prominent angel investors like Dwyane Wade and Baron Davis.

This funding fueled R&D efforts, allowing us to refine our approach to proactive financial behavior change, particularly in credit education.

3

2023 - Winners of 43North, world's largest startup pitch competition

Kiddie Kredit won 43 North, the world's largest startup pitch competition, securing a $1M investment. As a result, our headquarters moved to Buffalo, NY, positioning us for expansion.

This funding enabled us to broaden our financial education solutions, reaching new demographics with engaging age-appropriate content.

4

2024 - Kredit Academy is born

To expand our impact, we rebranded as Kredit Academy, launching a suite of financial wellness products designed to help organizations engage and educate their audiences on credit and financial literacy.

With new partnerships with financial institutions and credit card providers, Kredit Academy is set to revolutionize financial education.

5

2025 - Launched matched savings with Edward Jones

We partnered with Edward Jones to launch a matched savings initiative, pairing our learning journey with a real incentive to save. It put the founding principle into practice: preparation first, then access.

6

2026 - Matched savings with the St. Louis and Chicago Urban Leagues

We extended matched savings to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Chicago Urban League, and now work with organizations across the country to bring the same model to the communities they serve.

7

Coming soon - The Kredit Card

A secured credit card, not a debit card, earned inside Kredit Quest. It sits at the end of a learning journey rather than the front of a funnel, so access stays the reward for readiness.

What we hold to

Our Core Values

The principles that guide our mission to transform financial education

Learn, then introduce.

Most institutions lead with the product and add education later. We reverse the sequence, every time.

Preparation before access.

Every product is earned by the learning that readies someone to use it well.
